COPYRIGHT

Ownership of copyright will be held by the artist, Amy Lipscombe. Images of artwork may be used by the artist in portfolios, social media, marketing material and this website. The client does not have the right to sell copies of artwork in any way, unless permission is granted by the artist, Amy Lipscombe.

ACCEPTANCE OF COMMISSIONs

The artist, Amy Lipscombe, has the right to decline commission requests for any reason.

Once a client has agreed to a commission by the artist, Amy Lipscombe, and has paid the 50% deposit, they will automatically have agreed to the terms and conditions in full.

I strongly advise all clients to fully read the terms and conditions on this page in order to gain a full understanding.

PAYMENT

A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required before the artwork is started, with the remaining amount required on completion before the item is sent out for delivery. Prices are subject to change. However once a deposit has been received, the agreed price will be fixed.

If the client is not happy with the outcome of a commission and these problems cannot be resolved through minor alterations, the final payment will not be required and the client will not receive the artwork. If the artwork is suitable for public sale (does not feature personal elements), it will then be made available to purchase by the public at a price determined by the artist, Amy Lipscombe.

If commissioned artwork cannot be completed by the artist for any reason, the deposit may be refunded to client due to no fault of their own.

PHOTOGRAPHY RIGHTS

If the client has provided a reference photo for a commission and do not own the rights to the original photograph, they must obtain permission from the owner in order to proceed with the commission. It is not the responsibility of the artist to obtain this permission and proof of permission may be required from the client.

Target dates and DELIVERY

Once a target date has been agreed for the completion of a commission, it is not the artist’s responsibility regarding the time scale at which a product is delivered after dispatch. Clients will be notified once the product has been dispatched.

All products do not include the cost of delivery to the UK or overseas. Delivery will be an additional charge, added on at the point of purchase.

All artwork will be shipped in protective packaging to try to prevent any possible damage during transit. Products will be posted by tracked delivery from and to the UK. If any product is being delivered overseas, delivery information and costs will be provided at the point of purchase.

RETURNS

Returns will not be accepted for any product offered by Amy Lipscombe, unless the product has been received damaged. If the product is damaged, the client must get in contact and provide proof a damage within 48 hours.

The client has the responsibility to cover the cost of returns delivery, which is non-refundable.

PUBLISHING OF ARTWORK IN PROGRESS

Unless stated otherwise by the client, the artist, Amy Lipscombe, has the right to publish progress images of commissioned artwork on social media.

If the client does not wish to have progress images published of the artwork due to it being a gift, a date must be agreed as to when these images can be published. After this date, Amy Lipscombe, has the right to use these images for reasons listed in the copyright section of this page.

PERSONAL DATA

In order to process an order or commission request by the the client, various pieces of personal data must be collected. This will include the clients name, address, email address and phone number, in order to contact the client and deliver products to them. Once the client has received their product, personal data including personal reference photos will be deleted or destroyed.
